John brings 24 years of multifamily real estate experience. He began his career managing military housing. In 2015, he moved into a Regional Vice President role and assisted in launching the Single-Family Homes Division where he managed a portfolio of 8,000 single family homes in MN, IL, NC, SC and Northern FL. Prior to joining Lurin, John served as President for a local Fort Worth, Texas firm, a private equity owner/operator of 4,500+ units of multi-family real estate located primarily in the state of TX. Chief Financial Officer
Desiree has almost 20 years of accounting and financial operations experience. She is a Certified Public Accountant. Desiree is responsible for overseeing the accounting and reporting for LPM. Prior to Lurin, Desiree worked as a CFO for a startup multifamily acquisitions and management company, South Oxford Management. Prior to joining South Oxford, Desiree work for 10 years at US Residential Group in Plano Texas, the last two years of which she served as Chief Financial Officer. Her responsibilities included financial analysis, internal and external regulatory reporting, cash management, G/L A/P, A/R, tax reporting, budgeting, forecasting and internal and external auditing for 180 business entities and an 8.4MM annual operating budget.
Director of Human Resources
Mary has 25 years of experience as a Human Resources professional, of which nine were in the field of property management. Prior to joining Lurin, Mary was a Divisional Director of HR for the Single-Family Homes Division of Blackstone (Invitation Homes). Throughout the launch of the firm, she played a key role in ensuring the successful development of the HR team. In addition, she structured and implemented programs and policies in the areas of training, benefits, performance management, incentives and on-boarding. She supported management and staff with HR needs in four state regional offices encompassing over 2,000 staff members.
She strategically advised divisional leaders of each market on employee relations, training, compensation, and recruitment, and provided advice, training, counseling, and support to field offices. Lastly, she implemented and monitored compliance with HR policies.
Regional Asset Manager
Pat brings more than 20+years of managing multifamily communities. Prior to Lurin, Pat served as Regional Property Supervisor for a private equity owner /operator of 10,000+units located primarily in TX, where she was responsible for the day-to-day operation of 10 properties located across multiple states.
Prior to her role as Regional Property Supervisor, Pat served as Regional Property Manager for a privately-held Real Estate Investment Company with 38 communities across seven states. Her responsibilities included the oversight of all aspects of management and personnel at 13 A+ communities, totaling 4,400 units across three states. Before that, Pat also served as Regional Property Manager for 20 years for a privately-traded REIT with properties in 46 states and revenues of $1.7 billion.
